This is the only MX5 I'd consider,

20180819_123301.jpg
20180819_124016.jpg
as seen in our car park last year.

and at least it didn't require a prostate exam to get it unlocked

Nice 5, not mad about the wheels though. I see buttercup in the background, didn't he have some bother with it recently?

She had to get left at our place the year before, after a water seal failed, but came back last year "faster & stronger" after a rebuild.

Hadn't heard any bad news from Owen since...

Ian do you still have the original bodywork from when you bought it? I don't reckon the MZ customs kit adds much (or any) value to the car for sale, but it's definitely got standalone resale value. Every little helps.

I'd swap the bodywork back for you if you weren't an island away.

IIRC the original front bumper was damaged by debris in the road #-o

No Haydn, Mark is correct, it was obliterated!! The kit won't add any value to the car but it makes the car look awesome IMO, it's a lovely kit, it just needs re-spraying which I'm not inclined to do TBH.

If I did and sold it on I'd never see the cost of it back in the sale price. The kit is lovely and really makes the car look aggressive but like everything else it's subjective.

Swapping the kit for the stock front end is not difficult, it's only bolts. I took off the MZ front end last year, the car was up in my mechanics place getting the HID kit put back on and a few other bits and bobs so I asked him if I could take it off, he was busy so he was happy for me to do it.
