MTEC discs are great, although people like to slag them off.

I'm on Mintex discs at the moment and I miss the MTECs.

Try DC performance for replacement k sport/D2 disks.
All of the rotors, none of the compression

My MTEC discs were OEM size, not your larger size. But yes I used the MTECs for about 25k miles and 5 track days. They were slotted and drilled and black coated. Whereas the Mintex discs I use now are OEM style and smooth, and a definite retrograde step in braking performance.

The MTEC discs did wear down pads much more quickly (like a cheese grater) but they were excellent. Never warped or cracked and had barely worn when I replaced them. They didn't rust bond to the hub either, unlike every uncoated disc I've ever used. They're excellent value for money and I found them well made and solid.

MTEC have a few different options so maybe the pad wear rate will vary depending on which design is chosen.

Happy shopping :thumleft:
