Any info on these's coils herko (595s)

Hayward's Street/bridgeported rebuild,595's,Tein coilovers edfc Racingbeat rear anti roll bar oil pres oil temp gauge pod's,lockwood front rear grills,Tinted wind ws folding tow hook's,595s,connect2 ,at long last sohn and ap50 tank instaled ,revi ram air duct already fitted ! calipers painted,diff oil changed .
just oil lines to fit at some stage ( had them a while too)

When I got the car from iain duff I never bothered checking them as I knew in his posts that it had 585s lol I looked yesterday

I thought the RR D969/D585-R coils only came in red? Could be wrong though.

Re: the OP - are we saying they're D585s or D969/D585-R?
They're surely the former if bought in one of the group buys.
RR's manufacturer of their D585s at one point was Herko (IIRC) - I believe they're made elsewhere now, for what I believe to be good reasons.
They're probably okay but I'd err on the side of caution.

RR suffered from too many warranty claims on their original sets and, while they stood by them, they weren't getting anything back from the supplier.
Probably just as well that they limited the warranty to the original purchaser, not transferred if the coils or car is sold.

And I do believe that that policy regarding original purchaser is still in effect as I recently had a customer (with what I diagnosed as a weak/dead coil) who tried to return his which were one of the 'newer' sets (with the RR logo etched onto the coils) but they apparently refused due to him not being the original purchaser.
Something to bear in mind when buying second-hand D585s or a car with them already fitted.
