Re: How do you remove rear Bose Amp?
It is bolted to the rear parcel shelf with four bolts. (10mm socket)
My car is stripped out so not sure how you remove the the shelf trim though?
The four bolts were inserted from the top on mine but it had been in and out a few times.
My amp is in my shed so if you need a replacement you can have it if you cover the postage.

Re: How do you remove rear Bose Amp?
Remove the rear seat bottoms to then un bolt the rear seat backs. Then you will see to plastic trim clips remove those and then lift gently the rear speaker covers repeat the other side. now you need to can lift the centre part from just above the rear hatch, then you will see the amp. Some clips may full off but don't worry they will go back on.

Re: How do you remove rear Bose Amp?
I'm attempting this with my R3 at the moment. When you say you can lift the centre part of the plastic cover from just above the hatch, whereabouts do you mean exactly? Do I prise it off with a screwdriver? It all seems really solid to me, but I can't work out where it is attached to the rest of the car. Thanks in advance!bigpete wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 9:49 amRemove the rear seat bottoms to then un bolt the rear seat backs. Re: How do you remove rear Bose Amp?
I managed to prise off the speaker covers and the centre cover with my hands, all of these covers are held in with metal clips, once I removed the amp I fitted the new amp and bolted it in place from within the boot so if I need to remove the amp again I can do so from the boot much easier.Number6 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 12:49 pmI'm attempting this with my R3 at the moment.
