Hello Gents
recently my radio reception seems to have taken a turn for the worse
now its never been splendid but now its taken a turn
so what to check? are there some mods to improve it generally?
I should probably check the state of my ignition leads ( Magnecors but still) and the engine ground wires but
I read an idea on the .com site to use a antenna splitter and add a second antenna at the front of the car under bumper, so effectively turning the whole car into an antenna
thoughts?
and I don't have a window tint
Radio reception poor?

Re: Radio reception poor?
Have you ever taken the radio unit out? The lead that plugs into the back of the unit maybe loose.
The aerial is located at the top of the rear window by the heating elements, might be worth checking nothing has damaged the tracks.
There's a Bose radio noise filter located at the top of the headlining as well which maybe faulty, replacements only cost a few pounds second hand so worth a try.
