Yes, a couple of people have, to good effect as far as I'm aware.

To the point that Rotary Revs sell a kit :)

I recall Josh at RR mentioning putting NOS in his car as well, got to keep an eye on what's happening in the background of the photos they upload :D

I can see an install completed by LC. Is the owner on here? As he uses it for track days, would love to see how it's been.

A World Time Attack car from Australia is a NA PP triple. Without NOS it made 500bhp, but they run it with a 170 shot of nitrous, for 670bhp. I think it's a record for an NA triple. And it seems to be reliable...

Is that the one where Andre from HP Academy interviewed the tuner? He had the nitrous fed proportionally on a neat RPM/Speed/Gear strategy instead of on/off which I found interesting. The bloke obviously knew his stuff but didn't take to being on camera very well :)

Yes, that's the one. I messaged them a few months ago to have a natter about triples.

Unfortunately in Time Attack nitrous is only permitted in Pro and Pro Extreme. So I can't use it.

(Ps I've just finished watching all the Roadkill episodes. I understand future episodes are no longer free, so you have to subscribe to Motor Trend for future episodes :( . I'm now going through all the Hot Rod Garage vids., where they explain how they really did it.... )

How long roughly round a track of continuous use would an average size dry kit bottle be expected to last?

Ps, the thread title does say “REALLY stupid question.”

an sadly their website is useless, i'm also seeing a lot of complaints from people who've paid subscriptions only to find that the content is not available in their region (including people from the UK reporting this to them) support from the SM team has also been useless.

shame as i used to love their shows but i guess they don't want the viewers.

BTT though, it is certainly a interesting way to "boost" a rotary, certainly would be interested to see a car on track that is actively using it.
Thanks, Stu

Mad as anything

Ah OK. It was driven by Dalibor, who I do know quite well. Kermit disappeared from TA the year before I arrived (so I was the only rotary for the last two years). I have chatted to Dali about his car. :thumleft:

Yea Dave had a bad rebuild experience turning the original 20b into scrap, he has a nice shiny 1000bhp+ set up in a crate ready to go in, but if you need any 20b info on me and I can pass on Dave's details. Also I love Dali's car!
