Actually 802 PZ's were made, but only 800 of them were sold, as the other 2 were the Test Bed cars Image

...one of which was the car I listed for sale while back. It was on a 55 plate and therefore possibly precedes the VIN range Dean looked at.

Also, having scanned the list quickly, 1 white car?

PZ Limited Edition Numbers, THE LIST

The White one would possibly be for another Market Adam as Arctic White was available outside the UK :!:

although not a limited edition, as there appears to have only been something like 800-830 R3s registered in the UK from 2008 to 2011 (1 in 2015?) I wonder if it would be feasible to do the same thing there - anyone got a 2008 or a 2011 R3 willing to share their VINs for a search range?
Dean - is the original data source a restricted access system you have access to or a publicly accessible site?
Cheers,
Alan

I coded the script that retrieves and saves to a database each vin number in a range, it pulls from a trade suppliers website which needs a unique login so no, not something I can give out unfortunately..

But i could quite easily find out the vin range using a few cars from auto trader.

Dean.

Figured it might be something like that - shame! It appears they didn't change the sequence much between S1 and S2
My 10 plate starts JMZSE173600301xxx if that helps narrow the field down?

Would you do it to your vin number, or the order in the list?

If you did it by vin, the 1st car at the top of the list would read as 142/800 instead of 001/800 (for example)

PZ Limited Edition Numbers, THE LIST

Post by Brooksyvon89 »

Sorry to hijack this thread (please don't shout at me) and I have tried to search but I would assume PZ owners (such as myself) would gravitate towards here...
Climair wind deflectors... just received mine. Just installed as per instructions... they don't seem to fit right by the wing mirrors... is this because the PZ mirrors are different or because I'm clumsy?

Depends what you mean they don't fit?
Mine were a bit snug but managed to get that front lip of the deflectors to sit on top of the rubber instead of being pushed into the window track if that's what you mean.
I was advised it's best not to fit them when it's cold outside, or try gently warming them first.
Maybe start a new thread so things don't get confusing in here.

At a first glance at the sequence I note that *1136, *1173, *1176 aren't there.
There are probably more further down the list.

What would cause these individual vehicles to be pulled out of the sequence?
