Looks like I'm #690 on the list :)

Coming up on 2 years since I got my PZ, loved every moment other than when the oil lines corroded and dumped several pints of Mr Castrol's finest all over my driveway!

Oil... It's happened to us all. I'm my car twice, once with the nearside oil line and then the offside oil cooler.

Still living the PZ tho!

This is ACE!

Mine is 612th

which is the month and year of my boys birth year!

Its off the road, but will be popped on this year for maybe a few months! Looking to make it a life long project.

Will be keeping it as std as possible ANP!

Cheers

I have a PZ and my VIN number follows the same order as the one written in the first post except the last 4 digits are different. I wonder how many PZ's there are in the country and if they'll go up in value?

Just checking back in,

PZ No. 312 is still going strong, still with me from new.
I've just has to replace the first part on the car (apart from tyres) - after 12 years it neds a new battery!

Hi Andy. Great to hear from one of the original owners. :thumleft:

Pity about the battery. It just goes to show how dreadfully unreliable these pesky rotaries really are. ;)

It's the Club's 15th anniversary this year, and we are having a big bash at Castle Combe. It includes an exclusive track day, which it would be great to see you at (even if you don't fancy actually going on track).

Thanks Pete

Yes, apart from consumables and the usual upgrade of coil packs etc, this is the first thing that I have had to change.

Unfortulately Castle Combe clashes with a family birthday gathering that weekend, otherwise I would have loved to come. Its been many years since I've been there, it would have been nice to see the place again.

The "missing" (not taxed or SORN'd) cars might be scrapped or they could just be tucked-up in the back of a barn, or exported e.g. to Ireland or France.

Late to the game, but from the licence plate I'm number 170. I've had it from new so can confirm the registration date.

Once I get the car back from its rebuild, I'll check the VIN.

There appears to be an error on the list for my car. My VIN is JMZSE173600141787 however my reg is attached to the next VIN on the list rather than mine.

Interestingly in some cases the next VIN number in the sequence has been registered 6 to 9 months after the preceding one therefore a vehicle with the same manufacturing date could appear to be over 6 months “ younger”

According to Mazda that VIN was retailed on 11/01/07
