Re: PZ Limited Edition Numbers, THE LIST

Post by CherryTreePZ »

Hi

I'm coming late to this but does anyone have a copy of the List they can share please?

My PZ original reg started with LM56 and the final section of the VIN is 142064 (the rest of the VIN is the same as the standard series).

My PZ was registered on 22 Feb 2007.

Can anyone confirm my production number from that info (is it too simplistic to assume it is 064)?

Any help very much appreciated.

'Tis great work Dean, I've taken a copy of the info for a spreadsheet if that's cool.

What's next then, Evolve? :D

All the “production” numbers for the PZs are only best guesstimates as the cars were built as standard in the Mazda factory and delivered to ProDrive in batches and Prodrive didn’t allocate build numbers to the specific VIN numbers which is how you can get an earlier VIN DVLA registered after a later VIN number.
It’s a best guess but if 064 isn’t “taken” you could assume it for your car.

Thanks that's really helpful. I'll adopt "64" unless/ until someone stakes a better claim!

Cheers, D 👍

I can export to a spreadsheet to save you the hassle if you want?

Maybe a long shot, but I'm tempted to do this same work to see if we can work out numbers on the Evolve series... unless someone can tell me otherwise that it can't be done?

Knowing my number from a run of 100 Phantom Blue certainly is an attractive prospect!

Probably more feasible than for the PZs as the Evolves we’re factory built unlike the PZs
