The RX7 was always a bit specialised but the RX8 was meant to be more mainstream, still special.

Turns out it's just the owners that are special needs ;)

Yesterday's trip was Northampton to Tunbridge & back (approx 240 miles).

RX8's spotted = 1

I did stoke on trent to Brighton airport on Wednesday (about 300 miles) and saw one, hardly see any locally either any more

Thursday's trip was Northampton to Frimley in Surrey. Approx 180 miles.

RX8's spotted = 1 (Blue R3 with big exhausts on the M1)

I maybe see one or two per month tbh (Glasgow).
Funnily enough about a fortnight ago another identical R3 was directly behind me. Had a wee moment :P

Since ive started looking to buy one I have notticed a few arround, a grey 04 plate seems to drive along my street most days.

Drove from brighton to Colchester zoo today and back today (220 miles) and only saw one black rx8 r3
2004 winning blue 231 gone but not forgotten

The trip on Wednesday was to SW18 from Northampton. Approx 170 miles round trip.

Total RX8's spotted = 2 (1 x S1 on the M25 with some sort of advertising plaque on the door & 1 x R3).

Incidentally it took longer to get to south London than it normally takes to get to Manchester! On the way back I was stopped for 45 minutes behind a lorry fire on the M1.

Today was Northampton to Warwick University (approx 85 miles).

Total RX8's spotted =1. That was on the university campus itself.

Hayward's Street/bridgeported rebuild,595's,Tein coilovers edfc Racingbeat rear anti roll bar oil pres oil temp gauge pod's,lockwood front rear grills,Tinted wind ws folding tow hook's,595s,connect2 ,at long last sohn and ap50 tank instaled ,revi ram air duct already fitted ! calipers painted,diff oil changed .

I did Somerset to Eastbourne and back today. (320 miles) 0 RX8s spotted :(

Saw a few Mazda 6 Sports, which look like they have the PZ spoiler from a few cars back.

Incidentally, my car surprised me and improved its normal mpg to close to 300 miles from 1 tank, rather than the standard <200. If I'd driven like a grown up I could have done it easily.

I saw 2 yesterday at the same time!

Was driving behind a Grey 04 plate and black one came down the road the opposite way.

Did stoke on trent to batley and back, and then stoke to the peak district and back and didn't see any. Plenty of mx5 mk1s though
