Not been on the forum for some time but yes a distinct low number of RX8s seem to be about. :(
Gutted I sold mine but glad to see its still MOT'd so suggests its still running - Yellow 53 plate. Loved it!
Would have another RX8 tomorrow if circumstances permitted.

The give you guys an idea how rare they are in Belgium:

- there's three for sale (one for parts)

- I've NEVER seen one in the flesh over the past 10 years. When I bought my 8, it was the first time I saw one.

The first RX-8 I ever saw was in Belgium.
It was going around the Ford Lommel Proving Ground in 2002 8)

A few of my colleagues working in Genk got to drive them as company cars in 2004/5.
They weren't that popular as company cars because they only got the mileage allowance of a 1.3L, with the running costs of a 3L #-o

There were a couple of LPG powered versions on trial but they had to be returned and crushed at the end of the lease - because no vehicle tax was paid.

Have you made the mistake of waving or flashed your lights and then realised you are not in your RX8?

Was in my brother's RX8 once. Told him to flash his lights to some babes on the side of the road. He said, "That's good and all, but I'm married."

Would explain why I have had people randomly flash me. Proceeded by me checking my mirrors for the next 10 mins for evidence of what has gone wrong with the car!

Turned out onto Salisbury Avenue in Cheltenham this morning and followed a silver RX8, then drove past the silver and black pair that are in Loweswater Road so I was wrong thinking the silver one was one of them making that 3 RX8s seen in one trip out which except for shows or track days is a record sighting for me!

I've spotted 4 other rx8 owners in the new town I live in. I've managed to move to a town with loads of rx8s but who's owners aren't on forums.
Or not members on here like you. (Whoops joking of course)

Not sure that’s quite as lovely up close, MOT history reads like ‘war and peace’ :). Shame as it’s quite rare to see a yella on a 55 plate
