Do you see many RX8's?

I did an airport run on Tuesday, and the MOT test trip yesterday, both in the RX-8 and not another 8 to be seen.

Took a 5 minute run in the daily this morning, just down to the village, and spotted a VR on the way down and a Tit Grey drove off just as I was parking.

By pure chance, ended up driving several km on the highway together with two other random 8s today. We must have looked like a small convoy.

Saw a grey rx8 on the a33 near Riseley (Wellington Country Park) going towards Basingstoke

Passed a tidy looking red one whilst in the r3 yesterday in Bramall, despite barely moving I don't think he saw me but was instead looking right through me at the market beyond.

Yesterday’s trip was Northampton to Frimley in Surrey. Approx 180 miles.

RX8's spotted = 0

If I was counting Porsche’s I would have lost count.

On the Allsorts drive to Aberystwyth I saw 6 RX8 plus one local VR one and of course mine so that’s 8 in one drive out!!

However, I'm beginning to think that it's all to do with Quantum Physics, where no more than one spinning object can occupy the same energy state (aka section of road) at any one time.

This would make it highly unlikely that I'd see another 8 while driving mine, and much more likely when driving anything else.

There are some exceptions to the rule:
- when one or more objects aren't spinning, e.g. parked
- when the "pre-arrangement factor" is applied
- when approaching/leaving known hotspots

There is also another factor at play.
It’s called “associated middle aged beauty blindness”
I’ll give you an example of how it works
I saw a car pulling out of a junction that was being driven by a very attractive lady, I haven’t got a clue what car she was driving as my brain only had capacity for the one image and thought.
It is therefore possible that there are many more RX8’s around but unfortunately they are cloaked by the aforementioned affliction.
