Been up to Tony's (exiled--viking)today and had the Hideaway Plates Adjusted so now can use my Front Parking Sensors and my Rear Plate is no longer crooked
Also Tony very kindly re-position the Rear Parking Camera so works a lot better now
He took a Dremal Drill to the Boot Lid Trim but I trusted him as he is a purer genius
Many thanks for today my friend

Re: The thankyou post!
I'd like to say a massive THANKS to Jay @JRMotors = JRMurray1108
My second visit out there today; my first was three weeks ago for a gearbox and diff oil-change. During a typically outstanding service from Jay, as well as changing the oils he also confirmed that my battery was charging okay, my brake fluid was okay, and traced an oil leak to the dreaded cooler hoses. I parked the car up that day and ordered an uprated hose kit, which arrived on Friday. Jay kindly agreed to fit me in straight away today, and after a pretty epic job involving removal of seemingly everything in the bay minus the motor itself just to get at the old hoses, the offending items were stripped out and replaced with shiny new braided hoses and fixings. It's a shame it all then gets buried back in the engine bay, as it's a great-looking bit of kit that you never see! Car is now good as new and running great, had a good laugh with Jay and Matt from BSC, and Jay even had time to make the brews. 1st class. Definitely recommend Jay for anyone in the South West!

I would like to thank AdamGaltress for yet again fitting something else to my car yesterday
He has also offered to fit my whole New Brake Kit at the Annual Meet/AGM Weekend once I have killed them off around the Donington GP Circuit
This is what the Club is good at and you rarely see this anywhere else in other Car Clubs I am a Member of

Big thank you to MadTaz (Carl) for doing a mini map on my 8 and showing me how she's running. The guy really knows what he's doing, and I'll be going back to him for another map later in the year when I have my 8 how I want it.
If your in the south east and thinking of having a map done, go and see Carl he's an extremely knowledgeable bloke and will get your 8 running like a dream.
Thanks a lot mate, cya soon!

Re: The thankyou post!
A massive thank you to Charles at BHR (Black Halo Racing) for advice, repairs and replacement parts for my D585 coil kit, free of charge, well outside his stated warranty period; especially as the cause of failure was down to my poor installation practice
Full story here;
http://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/vi ... =6&t=66826
I strongly recommend anyone who has a BHR 585 coil set reads of my experience and ensures their installation route for the coil harness wiring is better than mine, as a poor installation could lead (potentially) to a fatal accident.
I stress their is nothing wrong with the the product if installed correctly!!

Yesterday at Japfest Silverstone I wish to thank AdamGaltress who took apart my GT86 Engine Bay to fit an Oil Temperature Adapter ,as we both missed this item when fitting the Gauges in my GT86 back in March and then wondered why there was no Temperature reading
Also a thank you to ChrisHolmes2014 who helped as there wasn't an existing Tool to use and so Chris then proceeded to make one He is one clever guy
Also a thank you goes to Big John revs for helpful input
Fits in to upper oil gallery and takes a 1/8npt oil temperature sensor for easy installation when adding an oil temperature gauge on your FA20 engine.

Just want to give a thanks to Joshua (Sakeiru)
While posting up my VIN info as past of the quest to make the CC work, he told me that there's an outstanding active campaign on my car from 2007 for replacement Oil Cooler Lines. Upon his advice, I spoke to both Mazda UK and my local dealer and the ol' girl is now booked in on 31st May to get this work done free of charge as a warranty claim

I would like to post a really big thank you to Rx8-Col who fitted my Aero kit for me yesterday. Your help has been greatly appreciated. Not only did he do a great job he was a very courteous host and the coffee and bacon sandwiches from his other half were most appreciated. A top bloke. It was great to see both colours of the 40th Anniversary together.
