The thankyou post!

Post by minisaki »

As many members help one another I thought it would be nice to have a post where you can say thankyou to each other. I have been in many car clubs and can honestly say this forum is the most informative and friendly one I have come across. :thumleft: so firstly thanks to everyone who I have conversed with but I'll start the post by thanking

Nigel aka GreySilverBeast

Nigel has helped me numerous times with trying to get the scottish side of the club up and going and with my posts genualy feel he's gone the extra mile to help me out so cheers Nigel :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

I'd like to thank Clive at MRP for sorting me out a new driveshaft oil seal in less than 24 hours, and also for his help with it over the phone.
Also Ben and the guys at RR for the extra help over the phone.

Thanks Bob, good of you to thank me, given you travelled all that way and didn't even do a lap of Croft due to your "weird" (lack of) revving problem. Hope you get it diagnosed soon and it turns out to be nothing too serious to fix.

Weather - all carefully planned to have two days in one, wet morning and dry afternoon :^o  :D

I like to put a Big Thank You on this Thread for ChrisHolmes2014 as he and his wife Kathy very kindly put Me and my friend Adam up for the night on Friday 15th May =D> =D> =D> =D>

This was to save me getting up at 3.00am on Saturday Morning to drive to the Japfest Club Stand in time for 6.00am set up :!:

Adam and I both got a Jar of Homemade Plum Jam to enjoy sometime =D>

I had a very nice sleep in the spare room upstairs :P and my friend Adam was in the front downstairs room on the Sofa Bed =D>

Chris and Kathy were fantastic hosts and even provided Breakfast if we wanted it :P

Do bare in mind the first time Chris met me was at the recent Skid Control Day up at Rockingham and he went out of his way for a complete stranger  and this is why this is one fantastic Club we all belong too =D> =D> =D> =D>

Id like to thank Ben Dunn for not telling me to F**k off when I previously sent him numerous texts on a Sunday afternoon when I was in a panic about oil smoke coming from my exhaust (turned out to be an oil burp into the intake) he was in the middle of his sunday lunch with family and I'd completely forgot it was Sunday!

Thanks to everyone who attended Japfest and parked on the stand without problems and a special thanks to those who managed to understand my, "Go through that gap toward the Blue one, no not that blue one the one over there, go behind it and then left across the front of the marquee and park there"
"No this is not the Mazda Rotary Club stand so forget that, back up and go off to the next stand.......and repeat...and repeat.
"This is a nice car sir but I think your on the wrong stand" "No I am not" I think you are sir as this the RX8OC stand and your in a Nissan 260Z, go towards the Blue car, you know the rest!
To the last two scenarios a thank you for entertainment value.
