I would like to thank MTBBoy for the rear center light today. It's the first step towards making my RX8 look a million times better. Such a great guy. Very welcoming and even showed me his RX8 which looks amazing.
Will definitely buy you a drink once my RX8 is finally on the road soon.
Thanks again.

Massive thanks to Broomer for the suspension today. Got it home and cleaned it right up looking as good as new with a quick dusting of paint.
That's the first step towards my MOT pass certificate.
Ow and let me know when you have some more parts i could be very interested in a few other items later on down the line.

I'd like to thank Carl (MadTaz) for doing my compression test, and some tweaks to my ECU settings. Thanks for coming to mine, and on a Sunday. Much appreciated, and really helped since my car is track only.

Re: The thankyou post!
Just to say a big thanks to Lewis, Reese, Evers and the rest of the team at LC Rotary. Diff swapped, new flywheel, clutch and counter weight fitted. Plus new engine mounts, and Petitt Diff mounts fitted whist there.
Need to get use to the changes in the clutch but the car is definitely more responsive and quicker.

Re: The thankyou post!
Thanks to both Cabbie and Murf. I rocked up to both of them yesterday to buy some parts and ended up buying more off both of them than expected.
Then, HSBC website wasn't working properly and as I bought a lot more than expected from both of them I didn't have enough cash either time (even after topping up between Cabbie's and Murf's).
Both of them just let me take the bits and pay the next day. Either I should have been a conman or there is a lot of trust in the RX8OC. Love it.

I had the pleasure of meeting Velocity_Dan93 today, less than a week after joining the forum and club. The reason I met Dan was because he gave me free of charge a strut brace, and also sold me two keys for my car. I would just like to say thank you very much to Dan for bringing them to Liverpool with him for me. Cheers Dan

Once again AdamGaltress came to my aid on Sunday at Silverstone and secured my Fire Extinguisher to the Drivers Seat Rail after Motorline Gatwick had removed it while fitting the New JBL Kit in the car
He also fitted a few Green Nuts and Washers under the Bonnet a few weeks ago
Many thanks my Friend

Re: The thankyou post!
This is going to be a long post, so get yourself a cuppa and make yourself comfy if you are going to read it....lol.
My day started at 04:00 this morning. I was out and in the car at 05:00 (my insignia estate) you will see a couple of reasons for it not being the Rex later on, bloody good reasons too.....haha.
From my place I travelled to Northampton to Elektix (Nicks') place to collect a brand new exhaust that he had very kindly sold to me for not much money.
Was that you that arrived home just as was leaving Nick? Thank you for putting the exhaust out in an easy accessible place for me, it was a great help.
From Nicks' place I went on to cabbies (Daniels ) place Borehamwood, London, where I was collecting a fair old bit of stuff. Red and black complete interior including steering wheel, full carpet set including boot carpets, a set of 4 wheels with tyres, sill plates, full set of brake calipers and various other bits and pieces.
Daniel loaded everything into my car for me, but as I had another set of wheels to collect later on, it was decided that the wheels and calipers would have to wait. We also squeezed a CAT in though.
From Daniels place I went to Salisbury to collect the second set of wheels from a bloke off eBay (Lee), I don't think he is on the forum or a club member as yet, but I have told him about our brilliant club, so he may very well register for the forum, and club.
Lee had to virtually empty the car in order to get the wheels and tyres in, but we got there in the end, my Insignia estate was now bulging at the seams.
From Salisbury, I travelled to Leamington Spa to Rotary Potato (Huws) place to drop the CAT mentioned above off.
So my wheels and calipers are still with Daniel, until a time to collect them to get them back up to Liverpool, Something may well be in the pipeline in this regard though.
From Leamington Spa I took the journey home.
All in all a journey of around 554 miles give or take a few miles.
My thanks to Nick (Eletiks) for the exhaust.
To Daniel (cabbie) for all the items I had off him, and for packing my car to allow what we got in it, which was no mean feat.
Also thanks to the gentleman (Lee) off eBay, I hope he joins the forum and club, as he is a very nice kind bloke, who managed to get 4 wheels into an already packed car somehow.....lol.
And last, but certainly not least, thank you to Huw for being extra gentle getting the CAT out of a very tight spot without putting a single mark on my cream leather interior of my Insignia.
So you see the two main reasons not to have used the Rex: -
1) would not have got anywhere near the amount of items we managed to squeeze into the Insignia. And
2) 550 miles round trip would have cost a hell of a lot more in fuel.
So thank you very much to all mentioned.
I am really shattered now, so a good earlyish night for me.
Thanks for reading this long spiel.
Ian
