Nick has explained it with much too much detail already; not going to do my credit rating any goodqwakers wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 5:29 pmall did not in fact become clear. can you tell us yet?Ranjan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 12:06 pmCan I just say a huge thank you to Nick (13Black) for just the most brilliant, selfless act and all just to help me out. Thank you Melon, you are just another example of why I love this club.

Huge thanks to Ranjan for taking the time and trouble to donate & deliver some amazing RR54 "leftover" wheels and tyres whilst he was at a meeting in the area
Strange sight, Ranjan in smart suit and tie, immaculately coiffured (obviously the MX-5 is having an effect ), with an amazing likeness to Damon Hill too
Thanks Ranjan, I shall look forward to trying out these Dunlop Direzza's on track

Re: The thankyou post!
Thanks to Nickp47 for generously allowing me to raid some parts from a couple of breakers yesterday.
It also gave me my first proper drive in nearly 3 months having only just taxed and got the silver car roadworthy again over the weekend.

Re: The thankyou post!
Thank you to everyone who is always here to help with good info. When I got my first RX8 and joined as a member, I said this is one of, if not the friendliest and most informative forums I have been a member of. Well my situation is, I'm now a 3rd year social work student and have needed to park up the 8s till such time I have disposable income. But firstly, I need put roofs on my sheds so I can keep my cars under cover, plus I'm set on buying a 2 post lift as I'm so fed up of crawling around in mud working on cars.... once I get to that point, I will be back and plan to make projects out of them both using all the spares from the PZ I broke up.... I've been working on my brothers Mk1 TT and in fairness they have a really good forum too.... so just thought I'd come back for a browse to re-kindle my love for RX8s and say hi, forums looking as good as ever. Cheers

Re: The thankyou post!
Since I can't seem to post onto BigPete's trader link, let me put this here.
Pete has the most efficient and caring transportation service around and I have used him many times.
I have used others and I can genuinely say that his service, at his price range, is the best around, really is. You would have to pay a lot, lot more to get the same level of service and care he provides.
Cannot recommend him highly enough.
Ranjan.

Re: The thankyou post!
Many thanks to 30405 who got me thru a dsc problem with a 2 minute phone call. This i could not have done without access to the many contacts that i have gathered from the forum.
This info alone has possibly saved me in excess of 100 quid had i gone to Mazda,so i have more than saved my membership fee by using info that originated on this forum, 26 quid well spent i think, rob.

For any that don't know, I'm assuming "Clive" is https://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/m ... ile&u=1688
and the "Customer Service" relates to https://www.racingbeateurope.com, which is an amalgamation of Clive's business enterprises including Mazda Rotary Parts, which you may still see referenced under that name in other threads.

Thank you to Harry for sacrificing one of his own oil coolers so that I could replace a leaking one. Especially kind given how rare the R3 ones are.
And packaged incredibly well and posted quick. What a legend!
