Big thanks to Luke Murdoch (Murdoch's Rotary Specialist) for coming round to me this afternoon and getting my car back up and running =D> ... it seems I burned out a coil (or maybe a couple or all of them) late Saturday night.
Big thanks to Ben at Rotary Revs who will be sending me replacements =D> (and hopefully in time for Luke to fit them for me at the Cobham meet on Wednesday).
I'm a bit more happy and relaxed than I was late on Saturday night when I had smoke coming from under the bonnet as I limped the car onto the drive.

Yes it was scary  - especially the smoke coming from under my bonnet as I reversed onto my drive just before the car cut out.
My thanks again to Ben/Rotary Revs for getting new replacement coils to me so quickly (from my phone call late on Monday afternoon the package with the coils arrived at my door early Wednesday afternoon) and of course once again to Luke Murdoch for the loan and fitting of some OEM coils on Monday that got my car fit and well enough to get me to Cobham for the Surrey meet yesterday evening and then for fitting the new coils in the car park at the meet. =D>

From the way the car drove on my way home I suspect the old coils haven't been in the best of health for a little while. I'm not so sensitive to or aware of what is going on under the bonnet to have realised this may have been the case or for how long, but from the moment I left the car park to come home it just felt really eager and willing to go.

Huge thanks to Ranjan for the roll cage door bars. You are a true gent, sir. I picked them up from Matt's rather surprised partner a couple of days ago (and thanks Matt for holding them for me).

Thank you Melon, you are just another example of why I love this club.
