Hi Velocity_RXB, yes - the RX-7 did have a large rear wing, difficult for me to see who was driving it as it was following at a fair distance behind me making no attempt to catch up. Next I saw the back of it while I waiting at Parley lights!

Thanks for invite to Hampshire meet, it is about time I joined actually as I am posting to the forum more frequently, I did not know their were any meets in this neck of the woods, Rex's are rare here, quite often the only one I will see during the week is my own! Bmth is full of Micras and Fusions generally, so the chance to meet up with other owners would be welcomed!

I spotted 2 yesterday, one on the M54 around 4pm and then 1 on the M5 15 minutes later both were dark blue (I think - it was getting dark!)

VR one parked behind my Titanium Gray one in my car park at work (Birchwood, Warrington)

I was the first car in a 300 space car park.

Ten mins later, look out of the window - no other cars, except for the VR Rex who parked next to me!

Two in Manchester City Centre about 12.30 - one sunlight silver, one black. A friend commented 'common as muck' then we also spotted two Astons, one Maserati, two XKRs and a Bentley Continental in the space of 10 mins. 'Common' is such a relative term.

I give up, I think Edinburgh attracts the "sad lonely gits" as owners.
Waved at a guy in a grey in Edinburgh, ignored.
Drove in front of him at roundabout and waved, ignored.
STOPPED in front and waved, ignored.
This reminds me why the west coast is better :(
If you are here, SMILE so others know you enjoy driving the '8 !!!!

Sorry to say this Peter, but what you seem to be encountering is the origin of the expression "miserable Scots git" - perhaps a drive to the West Coast would yield better results?
