Saw 2 last Thursday on a trip down to Epsom; first C* RX* Tit grey on the M25 south (I see that plate is in the member's reg plates list...) and the second HI PT*, black with silver Viper-stripes on a round about somewhere just inside the M25. I was in my van though :(

Haven't seen a Rex in days... and that's not because I've been hibernating! I've used two tanks of petrol in 7 days, so have done at least 400 miles :)

Mind you, my Rex seems to have some sort of winter disguise - can't read my own numberplate from the gross stuff off the roads, even though she was washed and polished on Saturday by fantastic car-cleaning hubby

Is everyone else also in disguise...?
07 Sparkling Black Kuro (303) - strakes, private plate. Definitely getting front numberplate lowered - soon!

The 'practical' vehicle is a 1986 petrol Land Rover... I think it does worse mpg than the Rex but I try to not count!

Off topic but:

rexy1988, If you're from Melton you must be familiar with the B676 that runs from Melton to Colsterworth! That is one of my all time best roads of ever! My parents live in Bourne and when I was at Loughborough Uni I used to go along that road to get home. It's brilliant! Fast flowing bits, crests, jumps, straights, tight bends, open bends, surface changes, it's a real test of a good car. A mate of mine followed me along there in a Lamborghini Diablo 6.0VT. He said he struggled to be as "brave" as I was in the RX8 and only kept up by unleashing 6 litres of Sant Agatas finest along the straight bits. The drive-by noise must have been awesome, the high pitched howl of the RX8 momentarily being obilterated by the bellowing V12. He passed me on a long straight when I was reaching the top of 4th like I was standing still.

I left Loughborough after a year and now kill people for the government. Or at least I wish I did, telling people you joined the Navy to count fish is just utterly unimpressive.
