M25
Tit grey (I think), on hard shoulder of the north bit of the M25, about 10 / 10:30 yesterday am... , somewhere near M1 Junction.
I was going other way else I would have stopped to see if I could help...
Owner standing on hard shoulder with phone to ear...
I think it had a rear spoiler and it certainly had dark coloured non standard alloys...
Distintive car - anyone know it?
Dave

Absolutely filthy silver Hi-Power (looked like Xenons, when far enough off my arse that I could see the lights ) "PX53" on the A7 Carlisle to Edinburgh, at Longtown. Tailgated, passed two cars ahead on a blind bend, exceeded 30mph limit in Longtown, seemed up for a decent blast when I caught up past the Gretna bend, but wasn't driving 'safely' IMO so sorry, no 'race' on a public road
(Nice overtaking approaching Canonbieish with the oncoming HGVs, looked like a brown trouser moment).
Oh, and mine's a low-power

I don't know what it is about owning a car that makes you start seeing the same model all over the place. I mean, I buy an RX-8, and boom! They starting popping up all over the place! I've seen loads recently. Black ones, Titanium ones, Strato and Winning Blue ones! Only ever one other Red one, though...
(Well, apart from the Red one owned by a neighbour of a friend of mine. He never seems to drive it, though. It's always parked up on the drive, usually blocked in by his mud-slugger of a LR Defender. I have never seen it on the road, where I would instantly recognise it, due to the personal number plate.)

Velocity Red in Windsor
Well, I read the post about the waves and thought "that is pretty cool" - then I haven't seen another REX for 10 days, yes ... 10 days.
Then today, driving from work I passed a VR in the housing estate south of Windsor racecourse and he gave me a flash and a wave - nice chap!
Sorry, didn't get the plate - was too excited trying to flash back.

Several blacks in the darkness of the morning on the M4 over the past few days.. (unless they were nordic, strato or titanium and light was just so poor that I mistook the colours)..
And last night queueing at J16 on the M4 to get off for the last blast through the lanes, another Winning Blue XX99 HXW going into Swindon pulls up in the other lane, he seemed just as surprised to get a response from me as I was from him..
