Was cycling into work this morning riding through Ipswich when I saw a Stormy Blue rx8 pulled over with it's hazards on and the bonnet up. I stopped and said hello, asked if OK and explained I'm not entirely random as I own an RX-8. He'd got it sorted - electrical issue (battery - don't know what, could be the worn terminal clamps...), and then he went on to explain how he's had so many problems and he was getting an electric motorbike to replace it!

Shame he's been let down by simple things on it - but I feel I've done my good deed for the day now.

Came across a really nice looking red S1 with Aerokit on front and Mazdaspeed rear plus vents on the bonnet, A21 heading onto M25 anyone on here?

Only have rear dashcam as my front one seems to be malfunctioning (think it maybe the 265gb sd card).

Red RX8 in the south of Spain, Murcia region, English plates on it and a Silver VW Beetle with English plates in front of it.
Looks like owner was tinkering with the 2 cars at the time.

I was flashed by a silver 8 today with what looked like a carbon bonnet, or maybe just black. My windows were steamed up in the PZ so i only saw as it flew past, don't know whether they saw me flash back or not. Anyone here?

It’s been a while....

Had to post today after seeing a couple of RX8s travelling northbound on the A1 through Yorkshire.

The first one was modded, exhaust popping and flaming as he impatiently waited for the lane to clear ahead. Was very cool, would have been nice to see that mod more than 15 years ago when I first picked up my Velocity Red. I wonder if it’s still running, it had 67k on it when I sold it in 2006.

Red S1 in Castle Cary gave me a flash yesterday... I do seem to be seeing more of them.

There's a fourth, grey RX8 that has appeared on my usual commute. That makes one galaxy grey PZ, one very nice strato blue S1 driven by a bloke with a massive white beard, and a maroon 57 plate with cream leather seats driven by someone who looks like an accountant.

Saw 3 RX8s on the way up to Gloucestershire;

A velocity red at Salisbury, a matte black one with a BGW at Marlborough and a yellow one just before Swindon!
