Lovely :D They do feel amazing, it's the little things like going around a roundabout and feeling the flat bottom slip through your hand.

On a side note: embedding images from Google Photos doesn't work unfortunately, the best thing to do is to upload them as attachments :thumleft:

Yes, very impressed and useful they offered the exchange. I confirmed and paid on 22nd June, arrived today. Quick service.
Just need to get the old one back to them now for a refund of my deposit.

(I didn't get the option to upload attachment - members only praps?).

Well today has been spent trying to eliminate my cel 2008 apv circuit issue, I've already swapped the motor, today I disconnected both ends of the loom and checked for continuity and shorts to ground, no issues found, cleaned both plugs and worked them in and out and finally adjusted the socket on the motor end, well had the code come back a couple of times on start up and also go out a couple of time on start up, so not sure if it'll fix the fault code or not. If it doesn't I'm a bit at a loss.

Fitted some spare bright white LED bulbs (leftovers from the doing the interior lights) to the number plate and cleaned up the lenses. Much easier for plod to read my plate in the dark now :). New mazda mats arrived, so I fitted those in place of the grotty blue mats that were in the car.

Can't have that Dan (unless it was actually impossible of course! :D ), and I have found a solution. It does work, but it's frankly a bit of a pita. Doable, but a pain nonetheless. Edit: Not that bad actually, pretty easy to do.

I'll add some instructions in the attachments / images thread.

@exiled--viking

I'd be very interested to hear how you get on with that tester Tony, as I've been thinking about buying one.

Is that the "RHD extension lead" in the pic?

Finished fitting the Sohn adapter and oil tank.

Then had to dig out the power steering connectors under the airbox to give them a good clean which fortunately restored my power steering :)

Flooded it :(
Waiting for the battery to charge so I can go through the procedure to clear the flood. Have ordered a new 630CCA battery and will check which starter I have when the car is on a ramp on Monday. Do uprated coils help with this problem?

I'm no expert but how did you flood it ? If you need to get it running a bump start is always best when flooded

Put it back in the garage after washing it yesterday, forgot to rev to 4000 or let the car warm up because I am a numpty.

I think the battery is dead, which I am sure doesn't help. I drained it once trying to deflood, charged it up to 100% and it only managed about 10 seconds of cranking before it went back to 60% and the starter refused to engage. New battery (Exide Premium) has been ordered from Tayna will be here on Tuesday. New R3 starter motor from Mazda Rotary Parts will be here a few days after that :)
