Apparently popped her first flame on the motorway, which means the hi flow cat I got might not be doing it's job after only ~1000 miles

Also I love me some rice (not fitted, just couldn't wait to see what it would look like)Image

Fitted new seals to rear lights to stop the condensation.
Received call from insurance claim company regarding damage done whilst at storage yard, Copart have accepted that the damage happened there, so need to forward invoices and quotes for repairs, so far rear camber and rear toe arms, wheel alignment, booster pack, valeting and front bumper paintwork repairs. Going to get nearly as much from them as I did for the actual accident.

Got back home after a 300 mile trip down and around Dorset during which the car performed almost perfectly. The intermittent inability to idle occurred rarely but when it did the car re-started straight away with no throttle and idled at normally after a bit of hunting.

Clearly at times the ECU simple cannot work out what to do to achieve a steady idle and this leads me to think it is a sensor somewhere that is playing up but which then almost immediately works fine again upon the restart.
Once on the move however the car drives normally and is very rapid indeed.
I need to read up how to do a Camp ll reset as I noticed the previous max speed indicator figure is somewhat north of the national limit by a factor of 2!!!

It's been a great day, car has been mega, monumental levels of grip, hanging on to a lot more powerful cars on the corners, a mate couldn't take the grip.

Snapped a front alignment bolt so drilled and tapped it for an M8 bolt.
So I'm going to let Mazda fight with and snap the rest and it be their problem via the LCA recall that initially I wasn't going to bother with. Fanx Mazda, pls recall the rear subframe soon so you can do them as well.
Zzzzzzzoot.

so here they are as it should be. kuro2 passed mot today with no issues. both insured with adrian flux at a very reasonable price, they saw the sense in me saying i can only drive one at a time, and both with agreed valuation. tax will be an issue so i will try to find a way of taxing one at a time whilst maintaining the other. :D

Yep you can sorn on the last day of the month then the direct debit automatically cancels. If the direct debit is taken on the first of the month after the car is sorn it is redirected to your bank account within 7 days. . And then re set up a direct debit for the following month or whenever you want to start it again. Simples.
