Talking of well worth going, anyone in the midlands, in June there is the coventry motor fest, free to go and watch, this year there's going to be more Japanese influence, with a performance and tuning "village"
I'm always tempted by this event and other car shows. Then I remember how much effort I go through usually to keep the public away from my car.

Every video of it always looks like a lot of fun tho :thumleft:

After fitting some Evora discs and new pads last weekend I noticed the calipers had seen better days so decided to give them a fresh coat:

Quite liking the blue as it's a bit unusual, looks a lot darker in the photo though!

Well I have been ignoring P0138 code for so long.
Today I decided to change the O2 sensor and be rid of this fault.
While I was at it, I tackled the drop links which were a little worn.
The drop links were a real PTA to remove, but easily replaced.
Lambda sensor on the other hand, came out all bent and mangled.
No wonder it’s been throwing up random faults.

Filled her up, warmed her up and then found some traffic free Sussex lanes to get some beeps. I know they are made of glass but I’ve never owned a car that puts as many smiles on my face.

They're not made of glass,although I know what you're saying ;)

Maintain them as they need to be,and you'll be fine..random apex seal or stationary bearing failure notwithstanding..

The advantage of the SC bottle up there is that the core in the SC will not drain out when the engine is switched of, a feature of the Pettit Installation which concerns me.

Proved the car's practicality again.
Took my lad and brother to play golf. So that's 3 sets of golf clubs and 2 golf trolleys in the boot. Two adults and a 10 yr old inside easily, legroom to spare and an unused spare seat.
(I lost.)

Whilst waiting patiently and annoyed for the parts for my engine mounts I’ve been playing with front splitter options .....
the first was epic Image
I copied the under tray without the side bits for the oil coolers attached . I giggled , laughed and uttered you f***ing bellend to myself a few times . Then beer smile and smoke .
Second one was better but a long way off the finished piece Image
I dropped the oil cooler cover earlier when I realised the bumper can’t come off without my brake cooler ducts being removed , there’s a lot of crap holding in there since the last 1 and half track days Image
Onwards and up wards , I think it’s still holding 145 bhp at the wheels even tho it’s gaining oil
