If that's the Japanese date format its even worse than the American....
Is that a brand new engine?

Can't read Japanese, but there is nothing about the condition or evidence on the surfaces of any part of it that suggests its not a new engine, no discolouration on the irons or blooming on the alloy.
The oil and grease is also fresh and clean, and there where japanese manufactured dessicant packs attached that where still active.

That looks really good. Rare to see a brand new Renesis engine.
I wonder if they have changed the specifications/materials at all with new engines?
Is going straight into your PZ?

Yes but due to funds it will probably be January as I am asking Santa for some new Engine Mounts for Christmas, plus fluids, plugs and Gaskets, as well as the Clutch things start to tot up😳

Finally got my replacement bumper painted up and fitted.
Not 100% happy with the finish, but it at least doesn't have the huge dent in the middle and the cracks on the left hand side of of grille opening.
Besides, every single road around here is breaking up anyway, the paint will look like it's been at the end of a shooting range within a month.
Next step, Carbon Fibre front lip.
Was definitely meant to fit the replacement Ali radiator when I had the bumper off, but I completely forgot I have it.

It's good to know that our cars still appeal to 4 year olds, or was that a 16 year old after hom skooling? [-X

Started it to drive to Poundstretcher because I'm classy. With my coolant seal leak it now misfires every time in a cloud of smoke. The last couple of times it's also been hunting wildly on idle:

It's fine (super in fact!) once warm, but it seems to like starting cold less and less. Am pondering whether to SORN it until the new engine arrives and buy another daily.

Drove like a dream all the way back home had a big smile on my face the whole 3 hours home and I'm pretty sure I just stood outside looking at it absolutely buzzing!

I did try it, but thanks for the suggestion :thumleft:
It worked for two weeks but then failed. I'm hesitant to put more in as it can clog up other areas.
