Ah, was hoping for a supplier ! Looks good.

They are a genuine Mazda accessory. The part number is
F151-V3-030F. He was selling a second hand pair. I’m not sure if he sold them.

Fitted the steering wheel I bought on here a few months back, can also see the 3D printed radio button, looks ok imo but the gf doesn't like it.

Took it over to AmD at Thurrock to get my new BC Coilovers checked over and 4 wheel alignment. Really I just wanted it checked in case I'd effed it up....
Great workshop, real performance people. Very impressed. Got the coilovers set up a bit stiff which makes my wife's teeth rattle, but at my age that's a rare sight so all good.
I have BC coilover's (BR's) and just wack the dampening onto full soft for day to day driving.

I fitted a Ryan rotary 100 ppi cat as the smell was getting too much since I went full bridge, fits like it was Oem, has got rid of the majority of the smell and no noticeable loss in performance

Ouch! That's not good!
I just showed it to my wife and she said "Oh no! It's not Dan again is it?"
I did correct her that this was an RX7, and that Dan doesn't tend to crash his 8s, just destroys the engines!

For some reason I have it in my head that Jon's attitude to his FD is that isn't never been a peach, so as long as it goes well, that'll do.
Wouldn't be surprised if a few hours with a hammer and a pulled later, it'll be back out. Fingers crossed.

Looks like a wet day on Federals :(

It was raining...i was taking it steady...locked the brakes at entry to camp...got off them...then in big puddle locked again on grass sped up bang in tyres and barrier at 45 degrees...bounced off spun around abit...
Some it is up with brakes...i know...excuses lol...but id already had wheels off to check for warped disc...but run out fine...it was shaking under braking like a warped disc...they locked solid on the front...id just resprung the car 12f 10 r and fitted RB arbs...in that process id got a damaged abs lead when hub got away from me and pulled on abs lead...so id pulled both abs fuses and it was still doing it..
Not sure if related was wet...

Cheers mate...these things happen...i always feel that im scared of the wet on track and decided no i would stay out and take it steady and gain some wet confidence....ha ha ive done the opposite ill scamper to the pits next time....i think if id locked and skidded off at usual camp entry speed would be alot worse...
I like to push my cars and myself i stepped over the edge today...ill learn from it thats all i can do and like the Westy which is a better car after i crashed it i suspect the ol FD will be too...Thruxton in the ol Colt next month...

I ve decided i want a cage in FD at 1 point where it all goes slows b4 the impact and you realise that you have no control of the incoming impact...i thought sh*t this is gonna hurt...i took my feet of the pedals and stuck my heels on front of seat and crossed my arms then it all speed up again and bang! Not nice feeling...
That or ill wear a Nappy next time....

Really glad you're OK Jon. Wow.

This feels a bit silly following that, but anyway:

First time fitting my S1 wheels and new Federal 595 RSRs today ahead of Snetterton on Tuesday. Not sure if this tyre needs scrubbing in, but I'll put a few heat cycles in them beforehand anyway.

What surprised me is how much heavier the S1 wheels are than the R3 wheels despite being smaller.

And the tread on the road tyres I took off looks very low sadly after 8000 miles and 3 trackdays, and the MOT is due in a month or so. The hot July day at Snetterton really did a number on them. Won't do a dry track day on 19inch wheels again!

I really like having the brighter S1 wheels on compared to the dark R3 wheels. It looks like it's wearing trainer shoes!
