The garage floor will be interesting... I've still got marks on the road from drips the first time he did it on mine, and subsequent marks/dark spots from every time I've topped it up myself (amusingly enough, all in different places Infront of the house where I jacked it up - whoops  ) it'll be fiiiiiine ;) it does come up with some effort and a pressure washer. I just haven't done all the spots I've created yet :^o
If id of painted the floor with the garage paint still in its tin by the side of rex then prob would of just wiped up......doh

You guys are so tidy. My garage floor looks like a Jackson Pollock painting from various things that have dripped/spilled out of cars.

Embrace the spots and smears! ;)

I have the reverse issue - mine goes in the centre console with a USB cable attached for Android auto to my head unit. Even with the console lid open, it absolutely cooks it in there  I've had my phone shut off a few times doing that trick #-o will have to look into more insulation or just moving where I put it haha

Attempting to rattle can a front wing progress today was stripping, sanding and priming

Tomorrow if the weather stays fine will hopefully just need to wet sand the primer then start on the white coat I don't expect it to look good but even if I can get 70% looking good I'd be happy

Spoke with Ben at Rotary Revs today to get an update - they've got side seals, builds will be back on track in earnest from Monday and I should get regular updates from then. Sounds like things really went to sh*t there before Ben got wind of it, a shame, but here's hoping they're through it and I'll be getting the stellar build I've come to expect from them.

Carried on spraying the wing today

Wet sanded the primer, got the main coat on and ready for clear coat in a few hours now

It's not a bad colour match so far if I do say so myself, petrol cap I took off the other day for comparison

bit late but.

never wet sand primer, it absorbs water.

luckily in this weather you can fix it, leave it in the full sun for 3-4 hrs and you'll be fine.

Well for the last few days I’ve been rustproofing the front subframe and making things look a bit nicer under there.

I do have a question though - the 4 long ‘bolts’ (pointed at the end) that are attached to the chassis that the subframe bolts onto - that torque setting are they?? I seem to have every other torque setting apart from them. All the diagrams don’t seem to reference them.

Thanks in advance :)

I would suggest using the same torque setting as used for the k member as the size/pitch is the same from memory
