Due to the lens that has to point down and inside they have a heatsink as well for the cree led used in the projection. They are a bit bulky but it’s kind of ok.
My next step will be to replace the actual white lights in that holding to red ones to match my colour scheme. So it will be red door lights with white projection.
Yeah that is a bit bulky. And I was also going to change the puddle LED to red if I can. I wonder if theres enough room behind the door card to move the heatsink etc back out of the way possibly. Just wondering if it would be possible to reeingineer it so the projecter points downwards at an angle out of the way compared to directly down and bulbuous looking. For 13 quid theres no real loss... I'm pretty sure theres a possibility of doing it a little better with some work. The question is if I can manage it..

Oo. Ill have to have a look for those then Dave, or do you perchance have a link? Im pretty sure theres a much neater way to do what these chineese ones are doing anyway. Just seems like they were made the way they are for the sake of easy and quick to manufacture.
Found this video on youtube... Looks like a bit of a better solution for a bit more money on the puddle light LEDs. Hm.
had a hesitation on acceleration for a while so i took the plugs out today and found this.....

changed the plugs and its running well again....but the compression test i did was not the best news... high 5s on rear rotor...high 4s on the front. it starts hot and cold without tooo much drama so its let it develop time i think...do something with it over the winter.

what tester was it ?
Hayward's Street/bridgeported rebuild,595's,Tein coilovers edfc Racingbeat rear anti roll bar oil pres oil temp gauge pod's,lockwood front rear grills,Tinted wind ws folding tow hook's,595s,connect2 ,at long last sohn and ap50 tank instaled ,revi ram air duct already fitted ! calipers painted, diff oil changed .
just oil lines to fit at some stage ( had them a while too)
I wouldn't rely on them there really not very accurate one of my comp test came.back with cranking speed of over 800rpm and other members have had similar issues.
Hmm I'm hoping to get mine tested on a proper tester to compare!

Gave it a long overdue wash after 2-3 weeks of rain whenever I could wash it. Twas quite the mess to the say the least. I then took a picture with not my phone with the car facing the exact right way I swear so its just as good a picture as always!
