Popped into Victoria Park Mazda to book the two 8’s in for the recall. Which includes fuel pump issues? Fuel line insulation and drivers airbag No mention of front suspension lower arms.

You can go on the dvla recall website and if it shows up just call your local dealer to book it in. and cross your fingers it comes out in one piece

You cannot fit the lower grill without taking the bumper off. I fitted two tapped plates to the back of the existing grill and fitted the Lockwoods with two domes hex key bolts.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
I've spoken to the service manager at my local dealer and he tells me that my car is due for the fuel pump and the suspension arm recalls but I've had no notification as yet.
He tells me that the notification to owners is staggered so as to space out the workload for the dealers especially at this time of year when they are busy preparing new cars.
In a nutshell, don't panic, your time will come.

I fitted all my front grills(including lower grills), without removing the bumper, I used the zunsport grills, unless they differ from the lock wood grills, but I wouldn't of thought so.ChrisHolmes wrote:You cannot fit the lower grill without taking the bumper off. Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Fixed my power steering for the umpteenth time this morning
Edit: I'm tempted to get an AEM intake, just so I can always have easy access to the connectors without messing around with the airbox each time.
