Have a UJ, just a bit short. (I tried it on the spark socket as well before someone says)

Yes, the Evolve/Kuro wheels are a shadow chrome (I think) and look great, though they are a bit lighter than the above iirc.

Was going to refurb my s1 alloys in black. But.. I feel like black can be a bit harsh. Anthracite is a bit light for me. But shadow chrome would look much nicer imo. Even when my car hopefully gets the respray to midnight purple.

A friend of mine was just at Spa Neil, he said the weather was lovely so good luck!

When I had my 335d wheels refurbed I had them done in dark anthracite by Lepsons, the perfect mix between black and the usual anthracite you see on a lot of cars. Probably going to get the RX8 wheels done the same. I do like that shadow chrome too and have considered it a few times.

One can only hope.
Mind you it’s such a mind blowing track going around in the wet last year was such a good buzz.
Hopping to push Wayne around this year with a better selection of tyres. ImageImage

Looks close to the stock R3 wheel colour. Looks ace.

Is it just the pictures that make them look like the PZ alloy colour? I do think it's very handsome on the car, no matter the colour.

Attempting to remove black out paint from rear lens as the paint has started cracking. Finger crossed they can be resurrected if not will have to look at some replacements.

Paint on the outside?

Try a headlight restoration kit, one that includes very fine abrasive paper

Managed to scrape most some off with flat stanley knife blade. Looks like a primer, top coat and cleatcoat.
I have some wet sand paper 600 - 2000 grit so should be able to clean it up nicely, then depending on condition may apply some tintage.

Thought I'd pop out and at least fit the coils before my bits to tackle sparks arrived.

Sheared the first two bolts off the bracket because the nuts were rusted to them so badly. (Look at my white spots too)

I'm not having much luck with this.

Is this a replacement bracket jobby?

Ouch! Maybe give Bigpete a shout? I think the OEM bracket is removable. Im really glad mine wasnt too much of a pain other than working around that piece of loom to get the last nut back on!

take the bracket out, turn it over and look at the back, you will (probably) find raised domes where the studs are secured to the brackets. cut or grind them off flush with the bracket, get 2 m6 bolts of the right length and either epoxy glue or (preferably) weld the heads to the bracket. job done.

The bracket is easily changed if you don’t fancy the above, 3 bolts.
I may even have one but would need to check.

Thought I could feel the raised domes underneath but as the rain was increasing in vigour and the light was rapidly descending to darkness I decided discretion better part of valor and retreated. No welding skill whatsoever, so new bracket will probably be best.

If you don't have one to hand Nick/bigPete, I'll get one off eBay, they're about £15. Rather keep money in the club and all, but I'm still hoping to make the Somerset+Dorset run on Sunday and I don't have any time on Saturday.
