DIY flock kits apparently aren't much good.

I've had products from Ron at The Flock Shop who does it all electrostatically or some Nikola Tesla magic way. Really well rated.
Lucky for me I actually have a pro electrostatic machine! Check me out, haha.

Like you said, those diy kits are useless. Without charging the fibres, your wasting your time.

Currently sat in the local Mazda dealership waiting to have the fuel tank and airbag recalled sorted!

It’s good to see Mazda still showcase the rotary engine, massive poster of the Cosmo 110s and part of the 13B next to the coffee machine.

Today's plan was make a flyer for my work. But that seemed hard.
As I have caught up on customer orders it meant i then got bored, found the old door cards from my 8 and ended up seeing if I could make the leather on them a different a colour.

My car had black to start with, I bought some black/red ones which I like but loads of people have them. So as I'm indecisive and wondered if maybe going blue would look different.

I still cant decided. #-o

Nope! They had done everything in an hour! They quoted me they would finish at 6, but they worked hard as I spoke to the technician before he started working on my car, he was happy to get it done as soon as possible.

I decided if i keep my engine cover stood upright there i know its safe. i can't put it on the car permanently as i put an oil catch can in and it now won't fit as i moved stuff around, but have a plan to still use it for shows, i'm gonna lay it in place if the bonnet is up.my other option is move the catch can but there is not much room at all.

I really can't decide on the door or interior colours.

Walked past the 8 about 50 times as I was fitting a new exhaust to the wife’s mini.
What a pig of a job. Image

Had to remove all the brace bars, centre support bracket and undo the front flange whist laying on my back with just the rear of the car on axle stands. Good job I had my three wheatabix this morning. Mind you if I only had two I may not have got stuck under the sill ImageImage

I don’t think you’ll cure the crunching if it’s started , maybe ease it slightly but the damage will already be done from experience , just hold the clutch in a little longer when changing .

Have put around 300 miles on the gearbox over the past couple of days, just been on a prolonged drive to Norfolk hitting the beep in 3rd multiple times shifting to 4th with no crunch :thumleft:
Tbh I'm not sure if it's the different oil that's cured it or overfilling the box, on the rx8club.com forum people have found that overfilling the box seems to help as well.

I'm also using my stock shifter now as when I was refitting the shortshifter I noticed that it isn't properly aligned with the tabs on the gearbox, gonna have to get out the dremel :x

Yeah this was an original one with a rusty silencer outer skin but nothing wrong with the inner. I only changed it as the hanger had corroded and came away from the mount.

Swapped my old engine mounts for polyurethane refurbished ones that I made, took an hour to swap both sides and remove sound deadening from inner wings. The old ones had sagged, drivers side was bottomed out passenger side nearly bottomed out. Just need to go for a spin to see how it feels.
