Cleaned up the misty looking headlights with what I had to hand, T-Cut, they now look much much clearer.
It cleared up the 3rd rear brake light a treat too.

Refitted the rear shocks after replacing coil springs
A5011CD6-7BC2-4599-A2DE-D229E4E7FA6F.jpeg
also fitted a ghetto cat in place of high flow as it’s a bit quieter . After all these years of having RX-8s I realised the stock exhaust sound is my preference as you can hear the engine better which is the sound I like most. With this in mind I may sell the RB exhaust, that’s if I keep the car though, I recently bought this and am rather blown away by it so the RX-8 stands to be doing even less miles than it does already!

Yes, loving the simplicity of it, no abs, no power steering etc.
I had bought an MX-5 that I planned to spend money on to get how I want it (BBR etc) but realised that an Elise would offer what I want out the box so it made sense.

Took her for a fifty mile run, as local Screwfix was out of paint - Brexit don't you know

Drove in, reversed up to the garage to off-load, and then remembered that we'd left the ladder out.

That's 9mm from the end of the ladder to the exhaust tip :D

Hi
My car is due a ct ( mot) in two weeks,I have the car to check over this weekend and the cat to put back on.
I had a bit of a shock when I checked the mileage on the old certificate,I have gone 2319 miles in the last two years,I know I have been busy and the restrictions, but I had no idea it is that low.I need to get out more.
The car is over the pit this morning to do the oil change and checks.

First of 2 engine oil changes today, second one will be in a week or so. 10w40 was used.
New set of Plugs, lead and coils.
She sounds a bit healthier now.
