Sprayed the Advanced centre plates this morning and fitted the newly sprayed Mazdaspeed bumper with smoothed side repeaters. Then got the plates fitted and got another signature on the charity bonnet this afternoon.

Car has been cleaned inside and out, machine polished and then hand polished. The results are fantastic and apparently took 7 1/2 hours to achieve! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Japfest tomorrow.

Finally got my Nexus 7 into the car. Unfortunately chipped a small part of the surround as you can notice in the photo :(

It looks worse than it is but its still there and I notice it which is frustrating! Pretty chuffed with the result though. Still need to wire the motor up and sort out the display settings for the tablet so it all comes on and off correctly!

It's motorised and built into the pod, it's fairly straight forward to wire in too.

Today I cured my steering wheel rattle. What a silly design oversight! I put tiny rubber o-rings on the posts.

It was a mess. The engine from the car died from massive double bearing failure, the housings were pretty good but the irons were shot. I bought a donor engine hoping to be able to salvage enough parts and discovered it had a worse fate:

So ended up having to source other parts too. It's all in the project thread mate, in my signature.
