Installed some custom made suspension covers, as the rubber shock dust cover had perished. Nice easy fix and saved me having to take suspension apart. 😁

That as a replacement for those pesky front strut rubber boots F151-34-012B? Was in two minds about replacing mine when I did my suspension, but it was only three or four medium cracks. Give it a few more years before they disintegrate completely  :giggle: Interesting to see what your cover looks like, a big plus that you don't have to take everything off to reseat the spring :-k =D>

 Back at it again.

As usual, came up with more new designs and more ways of doing it rather than actually moving closer to an end product #-o

Also messaged Luke Murdoch to see if he can help with OMP and power steering.

A section cut from the original 192 intake works best for me.

Note that it doesn't need to be airtight, and it may even be beneficial if some of the excess ram pressure is allowed to leak out.

When I put my RB airbox in without a ram duct I found it was actually really easy to adjust the stock 231 piping to fit around the RB airbox opening. I imagine Daves done the same with the 192 intake piping.

Ahhh. I won't be home for another 2 hours ish. I'll see if I have it in my project thread. All I did was figure out a point where the piping would fit over the RB airbox and sliced the vfad off at that point. I think Dave probably used the 192 intake piping since its all hard pipe and not cloth.

Edit:

Just checked really quickly seems I didn't actually upload a picture of the adjusted Vfad piping. At least not one where you can really gauge where I cut.

Ahh. You'd only need to adjust the ram duct side of things in that case. I ebay'd a 192 intake pipe for about 15 quid.

Though with the stock airbox you'd still want your vfad to function.. Problematic. 😂

Clear HID projector lenses on the way. Need to shrink the template on my v1 etching but can't really afford to get it wrong with the new ones....! Maybe its worth opening up a second test unit to give it a go on the stock fresnel lenses before committing. Could be tears ahead.

Ooooh. Where did you find these? The only ones I have seen are from America, and attract all the postage and import fees...
