Is coolant less tasty than diesel? That's my most recent taste sensation.

I would say no it's not worse than diesel as it can be washed out the mouth easier than diesel and diesel is all greasy and horrible!Ainmhidh wrote:Is coolant less tasty than diesel? That's my most recent taste sensation.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Coolant without the Bitrex is delicious, such a shame that it'll kill you as it's cheaper than Dr Pepper.
It wasn't quite diesel, but me and a mate went camping before a day of wakeboarding - queue BBQ, drinking, debauchery and firebreathing with paraffin before heading off to bed. Said-mate woke up in the night dehydrated from the alcohol and grabbed a lemonade bottle full of paraffin and necked a load of it.
Many hurls were had and I don't think it tasted much better coming back out.
Paraffin burps throughout the next day.

Honkytonks top car fluids you don't want in your mouth ranked by taste...
Power Steering fluid<diesel<petrol<coolant<screenwash with antifreeze<screenwash<car shampoo
I'll be honest, listing that out makes me feel much more accident prone than I really am.

Placed the RX8OC AGM sticker over a "scar" left when a previous HKS sticker was removed, thought it looked wrong so started to peel it off and the clear coat just lifted with it. Simply no adhesion to the colour coat at all. Sticker now left where it was.

Think the worst thing I have had is sheep dip didn't wear gloves when tipping it in the race and spilt it on a cut on my finger and instantly tried sucking it out. Bad mistake it felt like my mouth inverted. Luckily I didn't ingest too much and it probably helped with clearing out any worms I had lmaogoodeggbob wrote:has anyone had a face full of a/c coolant fluid, now that really is awful.

There is nothing worse than trying to tidy up a car and end up doing more damage! Most frustrating. But nothing a sticker can't fixChrisHolmes wrote:Placed the RX8OC AGM sticker over a "scar" left when a previous HKS sticker was removed, thought it looked wrong so started to peel it off and the clear coat just lifted with it. Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Started chaving up my passanger dash area with some stickers. Finding the interior a bit bland so wanted to jazz it up a bit, also didn't really know where else to stick some stickers I collected

I'm going to sound like a wet blanket (whatever they sound like ) But don't go mad with the stickers in this location. There is an airbag under that cover, and the cover is wafer thin so that it splits when the airbag goes off. You'd be surprised the difference something as "inconsequential" as stickers could be (And a diligent MOT station could fail your car for it).

Got plenty of MoT and it's only my dad who sits in the passanger seat he has barely any teeth left anyway so the stickers might helpPeteH wrote:I'm going to sound like a wet blanket (whatever they sound like ) But don't go mad with the stickers in this location. Nothing strange about liking sheep. They are very intelligent creatures. Hence why they like me too! Although my days of sheep fondling are well and truly over (Welsh court order)GreySilver Beast wrote:Always thought there was something strange about Tom

Had some free time / was hiding from kids so did this. You do indeed need a deep socket! Much better now, about four clicks. And as per manual ensured hand brake warming goes off when released.warpc0il wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 11:01 pmHandbrake adjustment is dead easy, just needs a 10mm deep socket.
Access is through the little removable section inside the cubby in the centre console.
Just be careful when you remove the socket, as they have a habit of catching on the edge of the hole and falling down inside.
I've found 3x 10mm deep sockets in various members cars when removing the centre console for different jobs
