No idea if it fits but personally I wouldn't choose to use it in place of the standard car's shape.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Yeah it’s an R3 I have which is why I’m happy as hard the find much kit for the R3 shape, but I imagine the import tax will be a killer (it’s about £640 for the bumper)

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Finished fitting PZ Suspension after one or to false starts.
Couple of points regarding putting the units together:
.
Old rear unit taken apart and laid out in order they came apart.
. New rear unit note only the old bump stop and nut not resued. Also the Spring stop goes on flat side down, the shoulder helps center the Spring.
. Same for front unit, however no bush that goes on first after the bump stop, also removed the black rubber that came fitted to mine.
. Again new unit all part used apart from bump stop and top nut.
.
Another tip is to loosen the unit top nuts while still on the car as can be a real pain when off. .
Last peal of wisdom, to create the best access for the rear, detach the top arms and swing the rear one out of the way. The with a little weight on the hub you can make the space to remove the unit.
.
.
Plenty of videos on You Tube on how to replace the units. The above would have save me a lot of time and fitting and re-fitting.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
I had my battery tested at the local garage.
Switched off the voltage was 12.2
Under heavy load to simulate starting the voltage was 10.8
With engine ticking over it read 14.3 volts.
So all good; which leaves me confused as to why on occasions recently I've gone to the car and the battery has been flat as a pancake and won't even light up the dashboard.
The car has been shut and locked up and the boot lid was not left open.
Weird.

Drove for 3 hours toward Oxford in start/stop (mostly stop) traffic due to the M40 closure. Then decided it was better to just head home, which took 30 minutes

Rang my "local" mazda dealer (60 mile trip either way) to sort out the recalls on the car. Not sure what recalls are on it currently but.. Lets hope if its the fuel related one.. Everything goes fine. A week friday is the day!
