Finally got the suspension and ARBs swapped over and took the car down the road for the first time since fitting Tonys spare engine. It has a slight beat to the exhaust note at idle, my idle was set at 1000rpm for my previous engine as at normal idle after a track session the oil pressure just disappeared.

The engine starts instantly hot or cold and pulls really smoothly and well, the oil pressure is really good with just over 4 bar at 3000rpm and off the scale at higher revs.

Just the sat nav gauge unit and adaptors to remove for Xamtex, a good clean inside and out and it will be up for sale complete with the full aero kit.

Now I can get T200 CAD up the drive away from the road.

Cleaned ice of outside and some inside before driving to work.

Recharged the demisting pads in the microwave at work to hopefully get rid of that inside... 🤔

Nah
Mesh will inhibit the air flow and when not in use I’ll put a car cover over it.
It’s only used on track.

To avoid finding the car with lots of condensation on the inside, during these cold and damp days, I find it helps to drive the last minute or two before parking up with windows open and the heating turned right down so the air in the car isn't warm and so moist. That way the air-con can clear the windows that much quicker.

That doesn't fit well with my aversion to being cold..... :)
(Though even in this weather I wind my window down under bridges to hear the exhaust while giving her some beans)

I also brought in the demister pad I use to wipe insides to dry on radiator as probably holding a bit of moisture.

Agreed, and you may have to put up with some WTF comments in your left ear, but at least it's less of a shock when you actually get out of the car!

Haven't started my babe since end of November. I put her in a garage at the end of October to sleep through the winter and then my battery completely died, I was in-and-out of town for a while, so long story short finally got a new battery and started her up just to do a quick go around the block, then back to storage for 3-4 more weeks until we're all clear weather-wise, but was so good hearing it again.
Got a full brake disc/pad set and a BHR kit waiting for March to be put in.
Also having not driven it for a while I'm not used to the small things that much and noticed again that my clutch needs to be pushed completely in and if you release it even just a bit it bites instantly. Is that normal or can the pedal way be adjusted? Or should I start saving up for a clutch kit?
