Finally started on my watercooled lights project, if all goes to plan I should have some of the brightest lights in the UK (on a car with stock housings not a lightbar).

Modding day on Saturday as today a box of cosmetic parts arrived on the door step  also my modded rear end is over at spyder cars peterborough with the sprayer should have the rear end parts back soon.... new rear camera and rear lower reverse sensors almost wired in I fitting them to the lower defuser but will unplug and fit to my trailer when needed so it shows how close it get when reversing back up to a kerb ......

Image
Image

As you can see the defuser is a little Low #-o #-o when fitted this is the old version rear end just some subtle mods being done to the New Rear end and making the defuser and easy to remove to get my trailer on and off the defuser need to be able to be removed with in two mins max..

Hi

You would need to ask Alan aka Ainmhidh as he was the talent behind the refurbishment.

"Direct replacement" yes, but only after swaging the correct flare onto the existing pipes! So if your fitting braided lines check the seat in the union matches the flare on the existing pipe.

Excellent bacon butties in cheesy buns and endless coffees helped keep us going.

Picked car up from having re-build at Rotary Revs.
Really missed it, feels great but weird not being able to go over 5000 revs.

Happy days. =D>

Fixed my power steering again

I was a bit more methodical this time. Cleaned the connector to the torque sensor on the steering rack, no joy. Cleaned the white connecter nearest the battery, no joy. Cleaned the two grey connectors under the air filter tray, and hooray, power steering is back. So in my case it defo seems to be one of those two grey connectors. Next time I'll clean one, then test it.

Lost my power steering at the weekend also while it was at Essex Rotary. All the connectors cleaned and it was working again.
