Is it oil change at 1,000 miles then full revs Chris?

I am informed "March" but I won't be holding my breath...
Soon as I have a more definite i'll let you know, could be a Chris and Graham road trip to pick it up?

Glad I got a picture of my car as I can't remember what it looks like :(

A dry sunny day!

Checked (and topped up as required) various engine bay fluids, cleaned air filter, etc.

Did a full interior valet including leather feed for seats, steering wheel and gear stick gator.

Defogged headlamp lenses using G3 rubbing compound.

Repaired and refitted mount for dashcam.

Quick wash of bodywork and wheels to get salt and road dirt off. Will do a full exterior clean later in the week.

If you're not busy then mine's looking a bit tired ;)

Can't guarantee a dry sunny day over here in NI though

I am sure that can be arranged as Evesham is on the route from Cheltenham to Newbury, sort of!

blanked off the third brake light on my second boot, de-rusted second boot around where badges and third brake light were. filled the holes to make a nice smooth boot to swap with with my cars current boot lid , new one has a spoiler attached and i wanted to see what the deleted brake light looked like. i have missed having a spoiler!

(i de-badged the current boot lid and that also needed to be de-rusted like this too, maybe worth checking if you are concerned about rust spreading. the badges and brake light might be hiding the start of some future rust spots)

also rear brake pads fitted just in time as i was pretty much through all the pad, it stops a lot better now, had a quick check around looking for faults as its mot time next Wednesday. :thumleft:

Spacing on the plate looks legit for the road?
I looked through the regs a while back when not running a front numberplate for loophoples after noticing old Citroens had their numberplates behind glass and realised there's a maximum height limit for the front plate (1.5m iirc) but no minimum so I may mount mine on a spring loaded mechanism really low on the offside of the front bumper so its literally scraping the pavement.

Was going to fit my new (to me) exhaust system today but the fact it's below freezing and snowing puts that on hold, really annoying as during the week the weathers been perfect.
Took some inspiration from G's refresh build thread so got had a go with some metal polish and a drill mop and after an hour the exhaust it's looking pretty nice and shiny.
Fingers crossed it's going to sound good as it looks.

Should have taken some before pics as was quite tarnished.

Finally  got round to having the two bald front tyres replaced. A bloke in a van came to do them and saved me going out in the snow. :thumleft: Old back tyres now on the front, new tyres (I went with Uniroyal Rainsport 3 as the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas aren't available any more) on the back. :)
