Nice
Is it a Greddy, or something else?
I haven't seen yours before (I guess you were gone when I arrived). Interesting choice of wallpaper for the splitter and b-pillar as well.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
it was a Greddy kit, but there isn't much left of the "kit" any more, turbo was refurbished and upgraded (still says greddy on it) but the insides have been changed and ported, and the manifold is probably the only part of the kit left. she lives in the shadows...

Added another 65 miles of sub 5k motoring to the motor. It's still good fun even using only half the available revs and certainly seems to be pulling better than the other motor, not surprising really!

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Yes they are different - the lower 3 Lockwood grilles slot in behind the bumper - fitting is dead easy (even I managed it on mine with the bumper off guide they provide). Nobody has ever confirmed for me if you need to drill anything to fit the Zunsport - did you?Dazza44 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 6:16 amI fitted all my front grills(including lower grills), without removing the bumper, I used the zunsport grills, unless they differ from the lock wood grills, but I wouldn't of thought so.ChrisHolmes wrote:You cannot fit the lower grill without taking the bumper off. I fitted two tapped plates to the back of the existing grill and fitted the Lockwoods with two domes hex key bolts.
back ... does this mean we'll see you back at the Surrey meets (we're back at the Fairmile) any time soon?

Yes Bryan, did have to drill one small hole on each lower grill( at the outer side),then the inner side(nearest to the cress) hooks on behind the cress.

Thanks, I thought so - Lockwood's was the right choice for me then, there is no way I'd trust my shaky hands with a drill.

You're young to need a lot of seafoam to get rid of all the salt from the roads.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
part worn premium tyres on ebay tend to be a much better option.... premium tyres tend to last longer, so even a part worn should last about the same time as a new ditchfinder...
just something to think about...

Lol, I knew you guys were gonna flip out when I wrote it, but I just can't put £400 of tyres on at the same time as the suspension group buy that's running.
I'll check out the part worn option, thanks

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
It’s been on of those days. tried fixing things managed to achieved braking instead...
Fitted mp3 reader........ 1 car journey later and have a none working mp3 reader.
Checked why my suspension seemed low - suspension looks original and in good condition..... but in the process discover I have barely anything left on the rear brake pads.
Tinted new set of nice ‘water feature free’ rear lights .... for no reason at all one of them decided to then just shatter on me. .... had to put old water feature drilled lights back in place.
Tried to Fix auto levelling lights sensor arm with a replacement...... bolt snapped.
Decided today Achieve nothing, everything still needs fixing, after everything needs rebuying and I have achieved adding more to my to-do list in the process!
