Did a nice little hidden install of my GROM IPD4 under the stereo, then fitted a USB port to the cigarette lighter area so that I can keep that "factory" look.

Also took the opportunity to fit a pair of charging only USB ports into the centre cubby!

Gave her a coat of Raceglaze 55 wax. It came up pretty well but the paint is covered in tar spots and other impurities, i'll need to allocate a full day for a clay bar, polish and wax in the coming months. Summer wheels and tyres will be going on in the next couple of weeks 8)

Drive the car hard for a 45 minute track session at Rockingham yesterday and it ran fauktlessly.
The slotted dimpled discs and 1144 pads were outstanding IMHO.
With the long left hand bends the drivers side front tyre has taken some stick, the temp got up to 55'C and pressure from 32 up to 38psi

Removed front fender Strakes, filed and sanded the corrosion off and the knackered plating, left it with more of a brushed finish then covered in clear lacquer and refitted. Look a bit tidier now.

OK so it was yesterday evening, but picked up these bad boys for a bargain price :D

They shall (once the existing Michelins have been used up) be treated to a set of 595 RS-Rs for track use whilst the R3 alloys shall remain for the daily grind :)

Absolute steal of a price, and genuine BBS too - none of that rep stuff!

Looked at my tyres properly for the first time after Rockingham on Saturday and boy have they all taken some stick. I had rubber rolls flying off for at least 10 miles as we drove over to the hotel on Saturday evening!

New rear disc and pads mintex oe, 64£ (eBay half price, last ones) parts 45£ labor with mobile mechanic, labour could be cheaper, but nobody gave me closed price,he was the only one, and my brakes had tons of rush, and I was worry that expend 4h and 120£ of labor. That happened with the spark plugs, 6h to remove because they were welded for rust and to much screwed.

The weather girl said it would be a dry day in between the showersImage,so I put the washing out for the wife then set about fitting the Toyo exhaust I acquired curtesy of mrspiller. I've already gutted the cat so it's a simple job as long as it stays dry. Image.
Finished the exhaust so made a start on the rear end suspension. Set all the polybushes in the arms then rain stopped play ImageImageImageImage

Fitted aforementioned alloys. Happy with them, but anything smaller than 19" looks small on the R3!

I'll get used to it!

I much prefer the stock R3 alloys, too. I've got these for track work as I got them cheap and track tyres for 19" alloys are crazy silly money. I got these alloys and can get some track tyres to fit on them for less than 19" track tyres... ( -_-)

Looks sweet mate. I bought and fitted an aluminium effect version of this.
I struggled to get it to clip to the plastic linings and since then my arch lining has become damaged :|

What's the advantages of that undertray over the OEM one?
My undertray has become damaged so will need to replace it at some point.

AFAIK exactly that... As it's aluminimum it should be more resistant to damage over time. Mine is all wavy and looks a bit daft where the tray meets the front bumper lip, which presumably wouldn't have happened with the alu one?

Cheers undercoated with rust preventative then a coat of blackpaint had pot a rubber strip around it to the prevent rusting but it wouldn't sit right bit of a pita to fit ye had a bit of faffing with the front lip of the bumper and made the holes wider where the wheel arch liner meets the top holes of fhe tray all good now as for differences not a lot a little more stable / rigid at high speeds
