Well after nearly 10 years of ownership and nearly 80k I have finally managed to join the 300 club! The cold temps and daily driving seems to have made the difference.Image

I’m going to try for the 300 mile club, but the closest I’ve got(sadly no photo) is 286. Living in a city doesn’t help with mileage. I have to ‘hit the beep’ in discreet places in Edinburgh when driving through the town.

Just a fun anecdote, I'm on 232 miles to 1/4 of a tank whilst running my race extension nutter.

Those who say bridgeporting torpedo's economy are wrong 👍

I'm now not scheduled to do any long motorway journeys, so I think I'll struggle to get to 300, but if I had to do a mega motorway journey I'd easily get 325 from it.

That was mashing cruise control at 65 and then obviously doing 50 for the inevitable variable speed check stuff on the M1 👍

I think it depends a great deal on the car
I have two PZs one of which just for trackdays but one is much much better on fuel than the other
Luckily the one I use as a dayly is the economical one
I've had 320 mpg out of it
The other I'm lucky to get 250 out of

Is the 250 mainly on track? That still seems pretty good!

175 miles on the other car, zero on the 8 (SORN) since March. Most of that mileage is probably weekly trips to support local brewery businesses and obtain essential beer supplies.

I did my 350 in my S1 driving from Cumbernauld to Cheltenham, all motorway at 70ish aside from the last 20 or so around Cheltenham stressing i would run out at any moment before I hit 350 as the light was on from about 290!!
I would advise using the trip up as a sighter and then go for it on the trip home as you will know where all the local petrol stations are. 5ltrs of fuel in a can is another recommendation to reduce the stress at the end.

Another 300 trouble free miles...and only got 54.40 litres in at the same pump for 25mpg. 8)
2x 75 mile round trips and 1x 150 mile round trip in mixed A road and dual carriageway driving at 'making progress' speeds.

Still way off my 367 record.
Frugal, they're frugal I tell ya. ;)

...on 8 litres until dry?
Would take some nerve, 70 miles of back wind & downhill and a jerry can for when it ran out.

I did over 50 miles in my old RX8 after the needle passed the last marker, it was a bit tense though without a can of fuel in the boot!

It took 55 litres on fill up... but I mean, if you cross out the 1 and pretend it's a 2 it's a good number?

Long way to go hah to reach 325!
