That’s true, and a shame, it would be the perfect reg for me. But I still find the pun funny so might as well claim it as a trophy.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
So today's jobs were replace the oil filter as that didn't get done when the oil change did. Try to bleed the master cylinder of air... Discover the threads on the bleed screw leak air. So gave up.. brakes still exactly the same as they were before. Bit of travel then bite properly.
Lastly was changing the brakes completely. Only did the fronts today. Nice easy job. Or so I thought...
Until I discovered this. Luckily I have an impact screwdriver anyway which I used to undo the other 3 screws. Required my dad applying the brake and a much bigger bit to get some bite but it came out.
End result is lovely mtec discs and mintex pads. The old pads still had a good 2 mill or so of wear before I'd change them anyway. Passengers side outer was interestingly worn more than the inner.
Also put the two highest tread tyres from my older set of wheels on the front for now. Two of my tyres keep going down due to the wheels they're on.. I hope anyway.
