Ooh phew! I’ll keep an eye on it more often though, I normally check it once a week.

Cheers for heads up Feedthegoatxi, got my MoT thursday so ill try book it in fri/sat

Changed the 3 oils today, now starts up whilst hot :O think i need to check if i have done the gearbox oil level correct, their are 2 fill plugs, is it meant to overflow from back (lower) plug or the front higher plug?
Also, gave it a quick polish

Overflows from the higher plug. If you only filled to the lower plug then you have no oil in your box.

The 192 has two drain plugs on the gearbox plus the fill/overflow

!!!!!! All sets of Mintex 1144 pads are not created equal. Adams last set from the group buy which I collected after the AGM only had three pads in the box bad the holographic silver foil seal was intact so definitely a Mintex packing error.
Thank goodness I had another set or else I would have been gambling with only about 4mm of material left.
AdamG I need a refund!

Checked oil before Tunerfest. Whoops a tad low, obviously been enjoying myself with it. Topped up and ready to go.

Tried fitting Padgid Rear pads but they were really tight,,,,, is it normal to need to file them down, I have scraped every little bit of muck/corrosion for behind the springs on the carriers, ended up putting the old ones back in (slipped in fine) going to take them back and opt for another brand

Just finished my car for now, still got a bit to do (bleed brakes and perfect the demon eye) but knackered atm so gonna do it when it's light.
Built the front end up and gave it a Polish just before it got dark.

We know there are some fake Mintex and Ferodo pads in circulation, let's hope there aren't fake Pagid as well.

Foots now going nearly to the floor even though yesterday the pedal was quite firm, hope it just needs bleeding properly and there's not a leak in the system.
Picked up a caliper from LC Rotary yesterday, probably should have fitted it first rather than working on the lights.
Going to try the oil extractor on it, see if any air comes out.
