That’s an idea! I’m thinking it may look better without the chrome.

In case you haven't removed the foglight surrounds,before..make sure you pull them forwards and not outwards,as you'll likely snap off the rear locating lug otherwise ;)

Recently sold my 40th anniversary edition RX8 and bought myself a R3 in brilliant black, definitely well happy with it 😎

Silver (to me) always looks so dull on other cars, but it really suits the rex. Especially on the R3 wheels.
