good job! Looks very good. The colour coded rim stops the black wheels being lost against the yellow...

Re: COME ON THE YELLOWS!
Time to the sh*t out of this thread.
Here's my Yella Rex.
I've had it a week now after buying from Ben at Rotary Revs, which ends my 9 month search and scratches an itch I've had for about 8 years now!
It was not what I was looking for to be honest, but the combination of rare colour, good compression results and new coils/leads/plugs made it a good purchase IMO.
This is how it was when I picked it up.
This is parked up the morning after, ready for the work to begin!
Note the front splitter requiring attention.
She's not perfect cosmetically.
Far from it in fact, but that's part of her charm and what lured me in.
Main problems include rust around rear brake light, rust on wheel arches, rust on sill where doors meet... so basically rust in all the known problem areas!
Plans include getting back onto silver alloys, new rubber all round and getting tracking/alignment sorted.
I know how bad the stickers look above the tax disc - they shall be removed.
It's received a new battery and been taken out for a few spirited drives whilst I get used to everything and that's about it.
I shall be giving it a real good clean and seeing how good the paintwork can be made to look before considering options on paint for the short term - i.e. respray / touch up / leave it as is...
Long term plan is to get it completely re-sprayed, in the correct Mazda Lightning Yellow of course!!
There shall be one real change, which shall be documented shortly, but other than that everything will be kept as stock.

Re: COME ON THE YELLOWS!
For me this is the best colour - I love yellow for a car and I think it's absolutely bang on for the RX8. I don't know how many were sold but I've only ever noticed a couple on the road. I don't know what it is but perhaps with the yellow you see a little more of the RX7 bloodline than you do with other colours. You could do a lot worse than just brining it back to it's former glory (with a few extra bits of course)

Re: COME ON THE YELLOWS!
Just realised that I hadn't uploaded a photo when I changed my interior over to a Kuro version, so here goes a year later.
Think it gives the car a more modern look.
