IIRC it's been resprayed so that would explain why it looks way better than your average Copper Red

It’s actually not been resprayed, simply well polished. My Nemesis has incredibly smooth paint but not as shiny as that!

That does look lovely indeed!!!
I just stumbled across a picture of mine, and it struck me (though I may be biased
) that 17 years or so down the line the shape of the '8 is holding up really well, at least to my eyes
But then I'm very old, so maybe my eyes aren't what they used to be?
