Well, not quite 'leaving'

Post by 13Black » Sun Jul 08, 2018 9:41 pm

Hello all

Don't panic.

Old news to some who saw the announcement but that was on a Club Members Only section so this is a temporary heads up for the rest.

If my records are correct my Trader membership expires on this Tuesday 10th. For the lengthy reasons given in the other post, unfortunately (perhaps), I cannot renew this so I will be returning back to being a Club Member and the business will at some point cease trading altogether it seems. I still have a few bits and pieces to finish off for peoples cars but I won't be taking on any further work from new customers etc.

Anyone with warranties, they're still valid, don't worry - if you think there's a problem with anything let me know and I'll see what I can do :D I'm not hiding anywhere.

There should soon be another company that will pop up on here run by a few friends of mine that will look after the surrounding catchment area that I've been fortunate to serve over the years, so don't go running to your nearest Mazda dealership just yet (or ever for that matter  ).

On that note and to keep it short and sweet, before I change out of my black Trader hat into the blue Club Member hat, thank you everyone and farewell :salut: :salut:

Non-business, argumentative, melon-obsessed Nick who thinks he knows more about RX-8s than he probably does will now resume giving out snippets of dubious information and advice. =D>

Does this mean the more 'speaking his mind' Nick we see on Facebook will be replacing the 'diplomatic business owner' Nick on here?

If so, funtimes be ahead!

Sorry Nick but I have just checked the V8 Power constitution and according to that there has to be a unanimous vote of its members before any melons down tools.
As I am the only one allowed to vote you are fresh out of luck and will be forced to stay by my band of munchkins.

You can bet your imaginary bridgeport on it! :D

My hands will still be full of tools Graham but my wallet will no longer be full of money, is the only difference :thumright: or is there a difference?

So I was a customer and a friend, now I'm just a friend as you have no business does that mean you will work on my car for free? :p

Ah, but is your tin still full of biscuits Nick?
Glad you're sticking around in a personal sense - place wouldn't be the same without that vague scent of melon!
