door scratch on the rex

Post by Andyman » Sun Jan 22, 2006 4:58 pm

Hi all – new here but thinking of becoming a full member.

Had mine rex since Oct '05 and have loved every minute. Have added lots of bits and have kept it spotless and now some !!!!hole has scratched it in a car park! The scratch is on passenger door 4" deep by 3" wide and has gone through top layer of paint but not dented it. Any suggestions to hide without a re-spray? :(

Might be worth talking to ChipsAway or similar; but remember they are a franchise. Try to get local recommendations.

Same here, got it in Oct last year and someone marked it!!
Took it to main dealer workshop in T Wells and it cost me less than £40 for them to sort it. Polished out in the finish i believe, very pleased with their work.
