Potentially useful

Post by DrewR3 »

Just seen this oil filling kit on Amazon. Looks like it could be useful given our regular top ups and bit of a stretch.

Comes with oil caps that you appear to fit first then an elbowed extension arm and a bottle that i think you may pre charge with oil.

Each to their own but my RX-8 oil filling kit consists of 5 litres of Shell Helix 10w 40 and a 1 litre bottle then when required I put 1/2 litre in the 1 litre bottle and top up the engine its easy to pour in and no chance of over filling and more importantly no funnels etc to clean afterwards! :-k

Useful yes, but a bit like the others, I just keep a rolling pair of 5l oil containers, and always keep the one at <1l so you can pour at a really low angle.
Works really well. :D

Only the "Integral magnet strips" can hold steel filings into "the soft felt inner lining" with devastating impact on your paintwork [-X
